Australia’s economic outlook

Please join the Tasmanian Branch of the Economic Society of Australia for our next Women in Economics event. 

Dr Angelia Grant is the Acting Division Head of the Macroeconomic Conditions Division in the Australian Treasury.  The Division is responsible for monitoring and assessing economic developments in Australia and key global economies, providing advice to the Government on the economic forecasts and contributing to wider policy analysis. In this presentation, Angelia will discuss Australia’s economic outlook and the economic forecasts contained in the Australian Government’s 2018-19 Budget.

Women studying or working in, or interested in economics are invited to attend. Men studying or working in, or interested in economics are also encouraged to come along and support the event and the WEN more broadly.

Sparkling/wine will be available on arrival and soft drink and nibbles will be available throughout the event.
