We have a lot of data on household wealth, and a great deal more noise. The ABS has two series that cover the question, and the Melbourne Institute another - the Household Income and Labour Dynamics in Australia (HILDA) longitudinal study. They all give different results.
Joe has offered a challenge and a prize: If you would care to make a written guesstimate, and bring it along, the closest to Joe's estimate can have the cocktail of their choice at the bar on Joe.
Joe's talk will start at 5:15 and the end time is merely indicative and includes drinks and general discussions.
