Please join the Tasmanian Branch of the Economic Society of Australia for our Annual General Meeting\, featuring Guest Speaker Simon Baptist. Simon is the Global Chief Economist at The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) and is also the Managing Director for the EIU in Asia. Simon&rsquo\;s focus is on the global economy\, national and international political developments\, and public policy.
Simon has degrees in economics and science from the University of Tasmania\, and a doctorate in economics from Oxford University\, where he also lectured.
At the AGM\, Simon will be presenting the EIU&rsquo\;s global outlook update.
Your ticket includes a two course meal\, two alcoholic drinks (beer\, house wine\, or cider) and unlimited soft drinks. You will receive two drink vouchers upon arrival and further alcoholic drinks can be purchased at the bar. Please advise of any dietary requirements.
Ticket prices are $85 for members and $95 for non-members.
