Join us for an insightful discussion on one of Tasmania's most important economic and social issues: housing.
We are delighted to welcome Dr Maria Yanotti\, Tasmanian Chair of the Women in Economics Network (WEN) and Senior Lecturer in Economics at the Tasmanian School of Business and Economics\, University of Tasmania.
A recognised expert in housing and social issues\, Maria has published extensively in the field and has served as an academic adviser to the National Housing Finance and Investment Corporation (now Housing Australia). Most recently\, she was featured on the ABC podcast It's the Economy\, Stupid\, discussing the future of home prices and the housing market.
Following Maria's presentation\, the Tasmanian Branch of the Economic Society of Australia will hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM). Members and non-members alike are warmly invited to attend\, hear about the Society's activities\, and be part of the conversation about the year ahead.
